Making Life Make Sense
Decoding life is part of how we all communicate - especially when navigating complex health conditions. From phrases like “LOL” (Laugh Out Loud) to metaphors like “it’s raining cats and dogs,” decoding helps make things clearer, more manageable, and sometimes even a little lighter.
For me, decoding has been a survival skill. My stories span four major areas of my life:
-
Neurodiversity
-
Oncology
-
Neurology
-
Calming my body and mind
And of course, there’s my blog, where I regularly share updates.

Why I Created Living Decoded
I want to reach others living with invisible illnesses, neurodivergence, and long-term conditions. I want to amplify the voices of those who are often unheard. I dream of guiding hospitals, specialists, and support teams toward simple changes that could make a world of difference.
I’ve used crutches, wheelchairs, mobility scooters, and special assistance services while travelling. I want to help others understand what actually works - and what needs to be better.
Most of all, I want to bring communities together. These experiences overlap in powerful ways. When we come together, we learn, support, and heal.
My Stories
Every chapter of my life has come with its own language to decode - from medical terms to emotions, from diagnoses to healing. These stories are honest reflections of my journey through neurodiversity, cancer, neurology, and the search for calm.
Explore each one below - I hope they bring comfort, clarity, or simply the feeling that you’re not alone.
